Description
My new portfolio site.No flash was used - it was done entirely with Javascript and html. Yes it is a little small in the window, thats because it is not complete and I will be "plugging in" more "modules" to the core ( what you see now ) that will boast applications / games / other assorted fun things "web".
Thoughts comments very welcome -- please take a look @ my site and play with it.

Second, let me say it looks quite cohesive and polished and blessedly restrained overall. The grey scheme is pleasant, clean, and places the focus on your images. Nice attention to detail, too, with the consistent rounded corners.
I do have a few minor crits and suggestions (long list, but some of 'em are pretty nitpicky, and all of them would be easy to fix):
- The scroll buttons on the left text area look great--simple and unobtrusive. I'd like to see these same buttons used in the gallery areas for consistency and aesthetics (IMO, the large ovals are much less elegant). You might even be able to fit a 4th column of preview images.
- The eyeball in the upper left seems a little wedged-in; it could use some breathing room, plus I just don't think it goes with the rounded rectangle motif. It's a cool idea I might save for another design.
- Some minor spacing things with the "Welcome to Visually Ill" text: in Opera, it floats above the scrolling text box, coming uncomfortably close to the icons above (in FireFox, it sits on the border, which I assume was your intent). You might be able to finagle consistent placement, but I don't think it's worth it.
Instead, maybe make the icons a bit smaller and knock them down a few pixels to line up their top edges with the top edge of the image preview area on the right. - Finally, it could only be more convenient to group your images by category, so when viewed through Litebox (?) the visitor can move between the previous and next pieces without closing the box and clicking another thumbnail.
To recap, I think it's solid overall, very user-friendly and aesthetically appealing. Just a couple corners to possibly polish.
